CHARLIE CANNON holds a Master of Architecture from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Wesleyan University in Middletown Ct. He has worked in architecture offices in Boston and San Francisco and as a carpenter in Connecticut and California. Prior to co-founding LOCAL he was a partner in L+C Studios with Meret Lenzlinger. Charlie has lectured on interdisciplinary collaboration, ecological design and urban sprawl at national and international conferences. He has been an Adjunct Associate Professor of Urban Design at Columbia University and is currently Associate Professor of Industrial Design at the Rhode Island School of Design.
