JIM YOHE, a native New Yorker, graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture from University of Cincinnati in 1988 and has since accumulated an impressive resume of building experience. After working at Keenen/Riley Architects on several high-end single-family homes, he moved on to Architekturbüro Bolles+Wilson in Münster, Germany, where he was project architect on several large institutional buildings, including the Luxor Theatre in Rotterdam. Moving back to Brooklyn, Jim focused again on residential design, both for private clients and developers before co-founding LOCAL in 2004.
